Locate Me Exhibition

The Jammer Horn will be exhibited as part of the Locate-Me show at Kunstraum Kreuzberg, Bethanien Berlin from 22st of May through 8th of August 2010. Opening night is the 21st of May starting at 7pm.

Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica

The Whispering Table was awarded an Honorary Mention by Prix Ars Electronica this year.

Albrechtsburg – Meissen

Exhibition opening on Friday 7th of May 2010

Schloesserland Sachsen honors its historical place with a unique exhibition commemorating the anniversary. Three hundred years of the history of porcelain will be staged in multiple settings and take visitors on a tour back in time to the origins of “White Gold”.

We were commissioned by Gerhards & Glücker to plan and develop electronics and soſtware for a central piece of this exhibition.

Upgrade! Boston is a monthly gathering of artists, curators and the public that fosters dialogue and creates opportunities for collaboration within the new media community. Each meeting consists of one or two hour-long presentations interspersed with questions and comments from the audience. Theme-based panel discussions are organized once or twice a year. The events are informal, free, and open to all. Founded by Jo-Anne Green for Turbulence.org in January 2005, Upgrade! Boston continues to grow as a local node within the global Upgrade! International (UI!) network.

D&AD Nomination for Whispering Table

The Whispering Table is nominated for the D&AD Award in the category Environmental Design. Also nominated in the same category »High Line« by Diller Scofidio + Renfro.

EPSRC IMPACT! Exhibition

Gunnar of TheGreenEyl is participating at IMPACT!, a unique collaboration between science and design that explores the importance of engineering and pysical sciences in all aspects of our lives. IMPACT! is organized by british research council EPSRC.

»Not Yet Heard« is developed in collaboration with designer Bernd Hopfengärtner and Prof Mark Plumbley from Queen Mary, University of London.

The Green Eyl at Icograda Beijing 2009

The Green Eyl are part of the bt’09 Beijing Typography exhibition at Icograda World Design Congress in Beijing, showing RatTales and Obscuritat. The exhibition runs from October 26-November 26.2009 at the CAFA Art Museum. Also Richard gave a short lecture titled “Socially Manipulated Pixels” together with David Small in the Define section of the conference.

Gunnar’s project «Extra Room» is shown at the Science Gallery in Dublin.
WHAT IF… has been curated by Anthony Dunne and Fiona Raby and is an exhibition exploring interactions between design, science and futures.

WHAT IF… runs until 13th December and is open Tuesday-Friday 12:00-20:00 and Saturday-Sunday 12:00-18:00. Please note that WHAT IF… may not be suitable for young children. Parental discretion is advised. more …
